Sony VP-7020 PCM audio modified

Model Details

Type VII U-Matic cassette player with search (5xFWD/REV), Optional 33-pin parallel remote control with BKU-702. 4 Rack Units High. Simple wired or wireless remote control capability using optional RM-770 remote control.

Modified in 1998 with:
Audio Monitor on front panel with:
- LOW
- DENSITY
- HIGH

Custom BNC plugs On back panel:
- SWITCH PULSE
- HEAD SIGNAL

We notice the video head has light blue and white wires to each heads, those are unusual colors for U-Matic heads.

We are researching details on this model modification. This may be a PCM type modification.
