PAL Digital Betacam editing recorder. The DVW-A500P will record 625/50 component digital signals on Digital Betacam tape and also will record a PAL analog composite signal input with the optional BKDW-506 composite input board. As in the NTSC model, the DVW-A500P will play back analog Betacam and Digital Betacam tapes that were recorded on respective analog Betacam or Digital Betacam VTRs.
